Faculty Senate Working Group on Faculty Salaries (2011-2013)

Charge: The Working Group (WG) on Rice Salaries was asked to examine:

1. trends in Rice salaries by rank within Rice
2. trends in Rice salaries by rank across peer institutions
3. trends in fringe benefits (including tuition for faculty children)
4. how different Schools at Rice determine raises/retirements (coordinate with the Worklife Program Office)
5. trends in administrative and faculty resource allocations
6. trends in Rice salaries and peer universities by field/department
